Covid-19 Protection Plan

Pagel Activity Center

 

These Rules and Regulations must be strictly followed by all Skaters, coaches, fans, and other visitors of the Pagel Activity Center. Users will be notified of any changes made to the Pagel Activity Center Covid-19 Protection Plan.

  • All user groups will be required to submit their own Covid-19 Preparedness Plan to the Pagel Activity Center.
  • All users are responsible to ensure participants are properly screened for symptoms prior to any on-ice activity. Temperatures checks may be taken for anyone that enters the facility.
  • All Skaters should be dropped off at the main entrance of Rink 1. Players may enter the building through designated entrance doors no more than 10 minutes prior to the start of their ice time. All participants will have 10 minutes after their ice time to exit the facility through the designated exit doors.  NO LOITERING
  • During Minnetonka High School Events all Rink 2 spectators, players, coaches, and officials must enter through the Rink 2 Lobby doors on the west side of the building. Nobody will be allowed to pass between Rink 1 and Rink 2 during these events.
  • Rink 1 & Rink 2 start times will be staggered by no less than 15 minutes to ensure that groups on Rink 1 & Rink 2 will not be entering or exiting the facility at the same time
  • Locker rooms will be available on a limited capacity. Locker rooms will have no more than 10 participants and must remain 6 feet apart at all times. Chairs are set up in designated areas for overflow.
  • All Skaters must come completely dressed except skates, gloves, and Helmets
  • Goalies must come completely dressed except skates, gloves, helmets, and big leg pads.
  • All participants must leave completely dressed.
  • Hockey bags are not allowed into the arena. (except for goalies)  Players/coaches will be allowed a small drawstring bag or small backpack. Hockey bags with straps are not considered a backpack (school sized backpack max)
  • Masks must be worn at all times including for players on the ice. Coaches must wear masks at all time including while on the ice and Bench.
  • Pod sizes cannot exceed 25 people. Teams and Organizations are responsible for ensuring that members of different pods do not practice together, interact, or otherwise come in close contact.
  • Physical distance of 12 feet must be maintained between pods on and off the ice.
  • 1 Spectator per skater will be allowed at practices. 2 Spectators per skater will be allowed at games, with exception for parents or guardians who must bring in young children
  • Maximum Arena Capacity for Rink 1 is 150 people. Maximum Capacity for Rink 2 is 60 people. During practices all skaters, coaches, and spectators are counted towards the Maximum Capacity. During games, skaters, coaches, and game officials are not counted towards the Maximum Capacity.
  • All teams must keep an list of all Players and spectators for all practices and games and have readily available if asked by Pagel Management or MDH for contract tracing purposes
  • Bring your own water bottles. Use of water fountains are unavailable. Any water bottles left behind will be thrown away.
  • There should be no spitting in the arena on or off the ice.
  • The bathrooms in both arenas on ground level will be the only bathrooms available. Showers will not be available.
  • There is to be NO off‐ice warm up or Training. Stickhandling/shooting areas and Training Room are closed.
  • Coaches and instructors should plan their ice time to minimize any close contact with other skaters. At least 6 feet should be maintained between participants when they are not actively  playing (team meetings, on bench, waiting for turn)
  • Loitering and socializing in the arena after your ice time is prohibited.
  • No outside food allowed in the Pagel Activity Center

These guidelines are designed not only for the safety of all visitors of the Pagel Activity Center but also to ensure we are able to stay open to all users. If users do not comply with these guidelines, they may be asked to leave and any future rentals may be cancelled.

Wanted: Part-time Zamboni Driver & Rink Attendant

  • Location: Pagel Activity Center – Minnetonka
  • Evenings/weekends, approx. 15-30 hours per week. 
  • Flexible hours.
  • Main duties/responsibilities include: maintaining ice surfaces, general facilities cleaning and maintenance, concession duties and customer service.
  • No experience necessary.  Training available.
