We are actively seeking family and business team sponsor support in helping MYHA provide a quality hockey experience to over 800 local girls and boys hockey players in the Minnetonka School District! All of our hockey programs continue to flourish, as is a great testament to the Boys team being consistently ranked in the Top 5 in the State, as well as the Girls High School WINNING THE FIRST EVER Minnetonka State High School Hockey Championship! We anticipate having over 65 Youth Hockey Teams (players K - 12th grade) and are looking forward to an exciting 2011/2012 season!
Many individuals and businesses have provided generously over the past years in assisting MYHA. The Board of Directors and our membership sincerely appreciate your team sponsorships. Your sponsorship dollars help make hockey affordable for all of our participants through the purchase of equipment and defrayed ice costs, which continue to rise every year.
We are in the Fall stages of planning for the upcoming 2011/12 seasons, which will include continuing our traditional pre-season clinics in September. We are excited to be entering into our 10th full season in the Pagel Activity Center, located on the grounds of Minnetonka High School.
Our District 6 league games will begin in late November and continue through March 2012, with district playoffs. As we approach this new season, we are again in need of association sponsors for our girls and boys hockey program.
