2008-09 Sponsorship Information

We are actively seeking family and business team sponsor support in helping MYHA provide a quality hockey experience to over 750 local girls and boys hockey players in the Minnetonka School District!

Our program continues to grow with the addition of 4 new travel teams and 1 new recreational team bringing us to a total of 30 travel teams and 2 recreational teams. Our mite program also continues to flourish. We anticipate having 26 mite teams (players K - 3rd grade) and after a tremendous response last season, we will again offer a Girls Mite program for 2nd & 3rd graders. And with a great returning cast of High School Players, both girls and boys...this year should be just as exciting as 2007-08.

Many individuals and businesses have provided generously over the past years in assisting MYHA. The Board of Directors and our membership sincerely appreciate your team sponsorships. Your sponsorship dollars help make hockey affordable for all of our participants through the purchase of equipment and defrayed ice costs, which continue to rise every year.

We are in the Mid-Summer stages of planning for the upcoming 2008/09 seasons, which will include continuing our traditional preseason clinics in September and November. We are excited to be entering into our fifth full season in the Pagel Activity Center, located on the grounds of Minnetonka High School.

Our District 6 league games will begin in late November and continue through March 2009, with district playoffs. As we approach this new season, we are again in need of association sponsors for our girls and boys hockey program.

We hope you will consider sponsoring a Minnetonka youth hockey team again.
