Directions to Minnetonka Outside Rinks
Outdoor Rink Directions
Badger Park in Shorewood. Take Hwy. 7 to Co. Rd. 19 (just past Excelsior School). Turn right (north) and follow Co. Rd. 19 to its intersection with Smithtown Road (Minnetonka Country Club will be on the far left corner). Rink is on the south side of road behind gas station.
- Boulder Creek
in Minnetonka. Go east on Hwy. 7 to Woodland Road. Turn right (south) for almost two (2) miles to Boulder Creek Drive. Turn right through entrance. Take right fork on Stoneybrook Drive about two (2) blocks. It is on the left side.
- Cathcart.
Take Hwy. 7 west past Excelsior and Shorewood Shopping Center. Turn right (north) one (1) block past sign "Minnetonka Lows." Turn north where sign for Co. Rd. 15 points south.
- Cottagewood
behind Deephaven Village Hall. Go west on Hwy. 7 to Vine Hill Road. Turn right (north) to just past Deephaven School and the RR tracks. Turn left (west) on Co. Rd. 82 across Carson Bay and take right fork of the "Y." Village Hall is one-half block from that point.
- Covington
in Minnetonka. Go south on Hwy. 101 to 62nd Street. Jog right and keep going west when Hwy. 101 jogs again to the south (about one block). Turn right (north) on Vine Hill Road to Manchester Street. Turn right (east) and follow it as it winds but generally east to rink.
- Gro-Tonka
in Minnetonka. Go north on Hwy. 101 to Minnetonka Blvd (Co. Rd. 5). Turn right (east) to Woodlawn Avenue. Turn left (north) and go to bottom of hill. Turn right (east). Rink is on right about one block ahead.
- McKenzie Park
in Minnetonka. Go east on Hwy. 7 to Williston Road. Turn left (north) to McKenzie Blvd. Turn left (west). Rink is on right side about one block ahead.
- Spring Hill
in Minnetonka. Go east on Hwy. 7 to Woodland Road. Turn right (south) to Holiday Road (½ mile). Turn right (west). Follow Holiday Road to Seymour Drive. Turn right again (west). Follow Seymour to dead end (3 blocks). Rink is on right side.
- Studer Park
in Excelsior. Take Hwy. 7 to Co. Rd. 19 at Excelsior Elementary School. Turn right on Co. Rd. 19 (north) and follow it as it swings westerly 1/4 mile. Rink is on left side across from police station.
- Thorpe in Deephaven. Go west on Hwy. 7 to Vine Hill Road. Turn right (north) to Lake Avenue. Turn left (west). Go to Hamilton Road. Rink is on right side.
